At the end of the day as a true sale professional I evaluate my time by running it up against my current monthly commission.   Was I spending time fishing where it was nice to fish or spending time fishing where the fish were?  I used to get so caught up in spending time where it was nice to fish. I did not care if I caught anything, I was enjoying myself, until I reviewed my monthly commission statements. Reality check,  I was wasting time and not contributing to my goal of financial freedom.  If you find a spot where it is nice to fish and you are catching a lot, then congrats, however if that is not the case then move on.  Go spend time where the fish are.    I learned early the commission statement is a reflection of my behavior.  Are you fishing where the fish are?
